2008 World Croquet Championship

Qualifying Tournament

The qualifying Tournament for the 11th WCF World Croquet Championships will be held in Nelson, New Zealand from Wednesday 23 January to Tuesday 29 January 2008.

The top four placings will qualify for the WCF 2008 World Championships.

Entries must be on the official entry form with all entry fees to NZCC Executive Director, PO Box 11259, Wellington 6142, New Zealand (phone +64 4 916 0258) be Wednesday 9 January 2008. The form is available from the Croquet New Zealand site at http://www.croquet.org.nz/index.php?entityType=Document&id=11.

Entry fee: NZ$100.00

Conditions

1. Advanced singles play (Championship).
2. The format will be chosen to provide full tournament play for all entrants and will be decided after all entries have been received but Section Play (American System) will be used first to determine placings for the final event.
3. Nominal hoop dimensions will be set at 3¹¹/₁₆ inches.
4. Dawson International Balls will be used.
